FEES: $576.00
$576.00 incl GST for tuition and performances in Terms 3 and 4, 2026. The invoice will be sent via Enrolmy. A payment plan is available upon application. There is a compulsory one-off additional cost of $38.00 for the cast tee shirt and tote bag.
When you enrol in this show, each cast member automatically becomes a member of the ensemble. The purpose of the casting auditions is for the creative team to place each student in the role they feel suits them best.
All students will participate in the casting auditions. Our philosophy is to prepare all students prior to the auditions by teaching them a short set of choreography and specific parts of a song or songs that will show your child’s talents. Auditions can be very daunting if you have never done one before. We aim to take away that anxiety by preparing each child with the content. Then on the day it is up to them to shine brightly!
The choreographer for this show is Alex Ready who has choreographed Dare To Dream Jr. Your child does not need to have had any prior experience of dancing to be in this show. What we do need is children who are willing to give it a go and learn the moves asked of them by Alex.
FIRST REHEARSAL FOR ALL CAST IS wednesday 22 July 2026 5.00 p.M. - 7.00 P.M.
On the day of the second rehearsal ( Sunday 26 July) we will hold a Question & Answer session for all parents from 12.40 p.m. - 1.00 p.m. Casting auditions will be held on Wednesday 29 July.
All cast rehearse Wednesdays and Sundays.
Attendance at all dress rehearsals and performances is compulsory. Please ensure your child can commit to all rehearsals and performances.

THE Story
CATS: Young Actors Edition is a one-hour adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical, specially tailored for young actors.
CATS is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines, including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Skimbleshanks and Grizabella. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.
